About

I am a passionate researcher on the interface between AI / medical imaging in healthcare at .NeuroRestore, focusing on leveraging and integrating neuroimaging strategies with implantable neuroprosthetics to restore neurological functions in individuals with spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions. I completed my PhD in neuroimaging to guide the delivery of implantable neuroprosthetics restoring neurological function at .NeuroRestore (EPFL/CHUV). I graduated from the Master of Computational Science and Engineering at EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland, at Lausanne after completing two undergraduates in Physics and Computing Engineering graduate from Universidad de los Andes at Bogota, Colombia. I am also a passionate enthusiast of science vulgarization, education, outdoors, travel, philosophy, hiking, chess and piano.
